Description

The Resilient Generation project, led by IFSB, aims to raise awareness among young people about the construction sector and its career opportunities. The initiative focuses on engaging young people through educational and interactive activities, helping them discover various professions in an aging industry and encouraging them to consider the future in construction.

What makes this project/initiative unique?:
It identifies the training needs for developing adequate programs in respect of trasversal skills, promotion and attractiveness of construction industry, energy efficiency, digitalization, green and sustainable construction, It develops soft skills in training (to learn how to promote innovation to clients, workers, institutions, Social partners)

Partners

A Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing projects from initiation to completion. Their main goal is to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Aim

The aim of this project is to raise awareness among young people about the construction sector. Indeed, it is an aging industry, with the current workforce averaging 42.5 years old. We need to attract young talent and give them the opportunity to discover our jobs and professions.

Target Groups:
The target groups are divided into three categories, based on age:
- 12–15 years old → middle school
- 15–18 years old → high school
They take part in several activities offered by the project.

Outcomes

Results of the project/initiative:
The project is divided into five parts:
- Learn and Work days: 1600 students
- Digital Challenge: 9 students
- Fresque Clim & Co: 32 students
- Building awards : 60 students
- Orientation days : 100 students
The project reached a total of 1801 students
